Medical Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Are you a clinically skilled SLP looking for meaningful work in a supportive, patient-centered setting?

At Divine Speech and Swallowing Solutions, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, swallowing, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing early intervention services and developing personalized therapy plans to enhance the quality of life for individuals across various age groups.


What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech, swallowing, cognitive, and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions focusing on improving communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication regarding patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families on strategies to support speech development at home.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in speech therapy and early intervention practices.
  • Collaborate with the lead SLP to ensure continuity of care
  • Bring your unique strengths to a practice that welcomes innovation and specialty certifications

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Value compassion, connection, and whole-person care.
  • Communicate clearly, work independently, and care deeply about patient outcomes.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and language processing.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred; familiarity with school settings is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and empathy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing patient assessments and documentation efficiently.
