We provide treatment for swallowing, speech, voice, and cognitive conditions. For a more extensive list of what our SLP treats, visit our services page.

Our therapy sessions take place in-person at our office. There are some outlying exceptions that may involve telehealth, but this happens on a case-by-case basis. Again, not every patient’s therapy looks the same.
You can expect a warm welcome, complimentary coffee and chocolate, and plenty of time to share your story. We will talk with you about your concerns, ask some questions, and may do simple activities to understand your needs. Together, we start building a plan that works best for you.
For your therapy sessions, plan on arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled time, as it is our goal to bring patients back on time. Your session will likely be 30 minutes and consist of various exercises that our SLP will walk you through.
This is called a “frequency.” The frequency that your SLP recommends will be based on what you need to treat and possibly overcome your deficit. This depends on several factors: the diagnosis, mobility, patient motivation, transportation, etc.
Therapy is a personalized journey tailored to your unique needs and goals. Whether you require an evaluation and a couple of treatment sessions or several months of skilled treatment, our approach empowers you to achieve lasting transformation. Through regular reassessments every 90 days, we refine your “plan of care” to ensure you’re progressing toward a healthier future.
You can receive therapy at any stage of adulthood, including as a senior. We understand the unique needs that come with every age and are experienced in supporting adults of all ages, with care and respect.
We accept pediatrics on a case-by-case basis. The process would begin with a 30 minute paid consult with the SLP, where both parties would determine if it is a good fit. If the answer from both sides is yes, we would move forward with an evaluation. Your evaluation will be discounted due to the paid consult.
Yes, we take patients that are using auto insurance to pay their medical bills. You are required to provide information regarding your case prior to your first appointment so we can understand your coverage before you start therapy.
This is a complicated question to answer! The short answer is we are “in-network” with Medicare. We are out-of-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, but are still able to bill them for you.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept Medicaid.
Our fee schedule is:
All evaluations: $390
Speech therapy visits: $90 for 1/2 hr
Voice therapy visits: $90 for 1/2 hr
Cognitive therapy visits: $90 for 1/2 hr
Swallow therapy visits: $90 for 1/2 hr
If you have out-of-network benefits for your insurance plan then we will be able to bill the insurance company, but you are responsible for any unpaid balance.
The only form of payment we accept is credit card, which we require all patients to keep on file. It keeps transactions secure, seemless, and takes the weight of tracking down payments off of our limited office staff.
We submit insurance claims electronically. If you have an insurance provider that does not accept electronic filing of insurance claims than we will be forced to provide you with a superbill so you can submit the claims yourself.
We bill your insurance on your behalf so that they will reimburse you. The rates that they reimburse you depend on your plan’s co-pays, co-insurances, deductible, and visit limitations. We will call them on your behalf before your evaluation to establish what out-of-network benefits your plan has.
A super bill is a detailed, itemized invoice and receipt showing your services with us. You can request them and use them to seek reimbursement from your insurance company for services rendered.
Due to limited office capabilities, we are mostly hands-off when it comes to insurance disputes. These issues will be up to our patients to address, but we will provide any necessary information needed from our side of the dispute.
We will contact insurance companies to discover your out-of-network benefits, but if more involvement is needed, this will be the responsibility of the patient to figure out.
If you are wanting us to bill your insurance, you will need a referral. The only time we do not need a referral is if you are a self-pay patient.
