A significant milestone has been achieved today with the removal of another feeding tube!

This accomplishment is a testament to the unyielding resolve and fortitude displayed by our patient over the past two years, as they navigated a myriad of challenges including pain, discomfort, leakage, infections, and inconvenience.

Their remarkable journey involved seven months of regular appointments at DSSS, necessitating travel from out of state with their spouse. This morning, they shared their enthusiasm about feeling significantly better already. The reacquisition of their ability to eat and reengagement with their community through church social events that include meals is a resounding success.

We are deeply grateful for the trust they have placed in us to tackle this intricate and formidable healthcare situation, which has ultimately been resolved.
